Bence Valics
Bence Valics is a Managing Partner at RiverPark Partners where he leads the buildout of RiverPark’s advisory arm. Mr. Valics is involved in all aspects of M&A, growth capital, and debt financing transactions in the lower middle market, from sourcing new clients and packaging opportunities to structuring and negotiating final deal terms.
Prior to joining RiverPark, Mr. Valics spent the first decade of his investment banking career at Podium Partners (FKA MFS Capital Advisors), a lower middle market-focused, boutique advisory firm. While at Podium, he took over the analytical responsibilities of the firm`s deal process and widened the scope of advisory and consulting service offerings Podium could provide to early-stage companies and lower middle market businesses. With over ten years of investment banking experience at a boutique, hands-on firm, Mr. Valics has been working closely with C-level executives, advising management teams with regard to key business decisions, including internal business initiatives, debt and equity financing alternatives, as well as buy-side and sell-side M&A options.
After finishing his undergraduate studies and earning several honorable mentions as a NCAA Division I water polo player, Mr. Valics spent two seasons in Hungary as a professional athlete, competing in one of the most competitive water polo leagues in the world. During his years in the Hungarian Division I Water Polo League, as a starting goalkeeper, Mr. Valics led his team to a Top 4 finish in the domestic league and competed against the best club teams and water polo players in the world as part of the Europe-wide Champions League tournament.
Mr. Valics holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from Pepperdine University, along with several financial modeling, valuation, and private equity certifications from likes of Wharton Online and Wall Street Prep.
